Bramley School is a leading independent girls’ Preparatory School where girls excel.

Bramley is a small and caring community where each girl is acknowledged for the talents that they bring. We are a non-denominational school with a strong Christian ethos. All faiths are welcomed and celebrated. The school is conveniently located, set in the beautiful village of Walton-on-the-Hill in Tadworth, Surrey.

Bramley is committed to educating each girl to the highest level. As well as concentrating on the academic achievements of the girls, we nurture and develop each girl’s special interests and strengths. The curriculum at Bramley is broad and modern, designed to enthuse every individual, whether their interests lie in sport, dance, art, music or technology.

A recent past pupil wrote in our guestbook ‘To all the current pupils at Bramley, you are really privileged to be spending the first seven years of school life in such a fabulous school. The teachers are exceptional. Bramley is where my love of literature began.’ She is now studying English Literature and Philosophy at Durham University.

Bramley achieves exceptional results academically and girls excel and progress on to prestigious Senior Schools. We work very closely with parents and very much believe that there is a ‘right’ school for each girl. For this reason, we are able to progress girls on to one of 13 different schools. Girls often gain scholarships and awards to prestigious schools such as Reigate Grammar, Woldingham and Nonsuch High School.

Bramley is full of spirit. If you would like to experience this for yourself, you are warmly invited to arrange a visit or attend one of our open mornings. Please contact Mrs Carolyn Ward, our Admissions Secretary, for details.

Pre-Prep trip to Kew Gardens - Friday 7th March

On Friday 7th March the whole of the Pre Prep went on a visit to Kew Gardens. The weather could not have been better, allowing for pleasurable walks around the gardens looking at the huge variety of trees, flowers and shrubs. The girls thoroughly enjoyed visiting the greenhouse and looking at the different plants growing there. Years 1+2 had a super talk learning about where different foods come from and the different parts of a plant. Little Bramley and Reception enjoyed looking at all the wonderful colours in the garden and making their own postcard using parts of plants and flowers of different colours that they found on the floor.
